Lip stains are my favorite lip product ever. I love giving my lips a touch of color that is long lasting and looks a bit more natural (unlike some high maintenance heavy-looking lipsticks and lip glosses).

The only problem about them is that they're quite drying in my already dry lips and carrying both a lip balm and the lip stain is not very practical. So when I heard about Revlon combining a lip balm and stain in one I was crazy to try it!

What Revlon claims about them:

"It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood."

Let's see if they live up to its claims!


☆Amo las tintas para labios. Me encantan porque le dan a los labios color más duradero y natural (no como algunos glosses y labiales que a veces se ven muy "pesados" y se quitan fácilmente).

El único problema con las tintas es que no son para nada humectantes, cosa que empeora mis labios que ya de por si tienden a resecarse... y cargar con la tinta MÁS algún labial humectante se me hace doble trabajo. Por eso cuando escuche que Revlon sacaría un labial humectante que aparte tintaba tus labios supe que caería en la tentación.

Y si, caí XD


I got two shades: Sweetheart and Romantic. Romantic is a warm orangey red and my favorite. Sweetheart is a hot pink with blue undertones that (sadly) looks terrible against my warm yellowy skin tone. Both have a minty taste and smell, nothing overwhelming.

Both are sheer but pretty buildable, which I like because I can get different looks depending on how much I apply. When you first put them on, they look like a very pigmented glossy lip balm. After some time the balm starts fading and you stay just with the stain which also fades later. Sweetheart is slightly more pigmented.


☆Compré 2 colores: Sweetheart y Romantic. Romantic es un color rojo algo anaranjadito y mi favorito de los dos. Sweetheart es un fuschia frío (con mucho azul) que tristemente no va con mi color de piel. Ambos tienen un sabor y olor a menta no muy fuerte.

A la primera pasada ninguno deja un color ópaco, para lograrlo necesitas por lo menos 3 capas o más. En lo personal a mi me gusta porque puedes obtener varios looks e intensidades con el mismo producto, fácilmente. Cuando los aplicas, al principio se ven brillositos y pigmentados. Después de algo de tiempo el brillo se va disminuyendo poco a poco y solo queda el color.



The staining power is ok but not as good as I would like it. After 3-4 hours of being applied and some very cautious eating, you can barely see any color on the lips. It is moisturizing, but the kind of moisture that just sits on top of your lips and kinda works while it's there.

I liked the packaging. It's cute and practical. You twist the metallic part at the bottom to make the product come out. Talking about product, I expected it to contain a bit more of it from the size of the packaging and the price.


☆La duración del color es buena pero no como me hubiera gustado. Después de 3-4 horas de habermelos aplicado y haber comido (muy cuidadosamente XD) a penas se ve. Note que al ponermelos si me humectan los labios, pero no profundamente, solo mientras lo tienes en los labios.

El empaque me gusto, se ve lindo y es muy práctico. Se le dan vueltas a la parte metálica de abajo para hacer que el producto salga. Hablando del producto, por el precio y tamaño del empaque esperaba que hubiera contendio un poco más.



In conclusion: Although not the longest lasting or most moisturizing, it is good for a drugstore product. Still, the price is slightly high for how much product you get and how it works. Personally I would buy it again because it fits my needs, and would recommend it if you have similar ones.

☆En conclusión: A pesar de que no dura tanto ni humecta mis labios como me gustaría, creo que es bueno para ser un producto relativamente económico. Y a pesar que esta en el rango económico, se me hace un poquito caro por el producto que obtienes. Personalmente yo lo compraría de nuevo porque encaja con mis necesidades y si las tuyas son similares, los recomiendo.
