Hi! Today I'm going to review several products from the John Frieda's Frizz-Ease line. John Frida products can be easily found at Walmart (at least where I live) and are usually the most expensive from there.

Hola! hoy haré una reseña de algunos de algunos productos de John Frieda, específicamente de la línea Frizz-Ease. Los pueden encontrar en Walmart fácilmente.

I'll start with their shampoo and conditioner: 

Empezaré con el shampoo y acondicionador:

What they claim:

"100% flawless, frizz-free hair from start to finish. Starts blocking frizz in the shower for easy styling. With the exclusive Frizz-Mending Complex + natural olive oil, it smoothes strands, hydrates to replenish vital moisture and restores hair’s natural defense against frizz. Leaves parched tresses silky, shiny and highly manageable."

Lo que el empaque dice:

"100% perfecto, cabello libre de frizz desde el principio hasta el final. Inicia el bloqueo de frizz en la ducha para un estilo fácil. My opinion:
My hair is dry, a bit wavy and with lots of frizz. When I read the description on the bottle I thought this would be perfect for me so I got them. I have been using this for several months already and I haven't see any positive changes.
Also, if you wash your hair frequently (more than 3-4 times a week to everyday) this will not work for you. I usually wash my hair once a week, but once I had to wash it several days in a row and this made my hair SO rough and coarse! it was even drier that normally. I had to change of shampoo and conditioner for a while to get my hair back to normal. When using them once a week it was ok, but again I didn't noticed any control over the frizz or dryness.
The smell was ok (don't love nor hate).

Mi opinión:
Mi pelo es seco, ondulado y con mucho frizz. Cuando leí la descripción en el bote pensé que estos productos serían perfectos para mi asi que los compré. Ya los llevo usando varios meses y no he visto ningún cambio positivo.
Además, si acostumbras lavar tu cabello seguido (3-4 veces por semana a todos los días) estos productos no te van a funcionar. Usualmente me lavo el cabello una vez por semana, pero por una situación me lo tuve que estar lavando a diario por un tiempo y estos productos me dejaron el pelo todo seco y áspero! Tuve que cambiar de shampo y acondicionador por untiempo para que me regresara a su estado normal. Usándolos una vez por semana no me ocasionó nada malo, pero de nuevo no vi que me controlara el frizz o la resequedad.

What it claims:

"Solución ligera lucha contra el frizz sin darle peso al cabello, dejandolo ligero y manejable ya sea liso, ondulado o rizado. Fórmula que se ajita para activar, hidrata el cabello desde el interior, dejandolo sin frizz. Ligero, no grasoso, se propaga fácilmente por todo el cabello para una cobertura uniforme y el control de frizz impecable. Deja el cabello manejable, para que sea más fácil de lograr estilo deseado. "

My opinion:
According to the instructions in the bottle you should use just few drops for your whole hair. I did it and it just didn't work. I had to use a lot of product to start seeing changes.
I noticed when I was using some random shampoo and conditioner (not John Frieda ones) this worked but very slightly. In contrast, when using this just after John Frieda's shampoo and conditioner this worked wonders! the frizz was reduced considerably and my hair was a lot softer. The dryness and lack of shine was still there tough. The smell is lovely. The only complaint in this is the packaging. It opens very easily! (it was leaking when I got it off the box it came initially with). Also the price for the little product you get.

Mi opinión:
De acuerdo con la botella, te indica usar solo unas pocas gotas en todo el cabello. Lo hicé así y no me funciono. Tuve que usar mucho producto para empezar a ver resultados.
Me di cuenta que solo funciona si lo usas junto con el shampoo y el acondicionador. Al usarlos en conjunto me dejaba el pelo muy suavecito y me reducía el frizz (aunque no por completo, y la sequedad seguía estando ahí). Cuando lo usaba después de otros shampoos casi no hacía nada.
Mi única queja es que la tapa es super mala! se abre a cada rato. De hecho, cuando lo saqué de la cajita donde venía ya se estaba tirando. Y también el precio, es caro por poca cantidad. Huele muy rico por cierto!

In conclusion (and solely from my personal experience):

• This products work wonderfully if used together!
• The shampoo and conditioner did nothing by themselves.
• The solution did very little by itself and you need tons of product.
• Don't use the shampoo and conditioner several days on a row because they build up and make your hair worse.

En conclusión (y únicamente de mi experiencia personal):

• Estos productos  funcionan genial mientras los uses juntos!
• El shampoo y el acondicionador no hacen nada usados solos.
• La solución hizo muy poquito sola y ocupas mucho producto.
• Si usas el shampoo y acondicionador muy seguido te deja el pelo muy reseco.
