Review / Reseña: Adara Paris Blushers

by - May 30, 2014

Hi! today I have a new review for you. I'll be talking about some blushers from Adara Paris that I recently got and been loving since.

Compré tres colores: B24 Coral, B02 Peachy y B16 Love.

I bought three colors: B24 Coral, B02 Peachy and B16 Love.

Coral is the only one out of the three that does not have glitter. It is a lively and warm pink.
Love has silver glitter. It is a dark pinkish red.
Peachy has gold glitter. It is a warm orange color.

Coral has an opaque finish on the skin, whereas on the contrary, Peachy has a slight metallic-y/shimmery finish because of the glitter, especially when using several layers of product. Love would be a middle ground between the two in terms of finish. Despite having glitter, it's very subtle to the eye.

All three have good pigmentation. I noticed that they can be used either giving only a hint of color with a single layer, or more intensely with several layers without looking heavy. Because of this they work great on most skin tones, as you can layer it depending on how noticeable you need the color to be.

In the image below I'm using 2-3 layers of product:

The texture is good but tends to be somewhat dusty: when trying to get product with a brush the friction created a lot of dust from the blush that gets wasted.

On longevity, I noticed that they have a nice lasting power. At the middle of the day you can still notice it on your skin but a bit faded, so sometimes I needed to reapply.

One thing I loved about them is the packaging design. It's simple but it looks modern and feels very sturdy. As you can see the cover is transparent to facilitate the differentiation between colors. I also like that each color comes individually, making it convenient to carry in your pursue without much bulk. The downside is that at home they would be less practical to storage in comparison to a palette, for example.

And finally what I loved the most about this product: the price. I got them for about $3-4 usd each, which is a great price for the quality. There were many colors to choose, by the way!

In conclusion, I highly recommend them! although the quality of the product itself is not a perfect 10/10, they're well worth it for the price.

I'd say the quality is very similar to drugstore brands (Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel, etc.) but for a fraction of the price!

Hopefully this review was useful! have you heard about this brand before? what is your favorite brand for blushers?
